The U.S. is home to a large number of bikers from old school to new school that would love to get their hands on the new Ninja 300. Now, that it has arrived, riders that have been longing for it finally have their wish granted.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300: Power Specs
According to report, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 draws its 296cc power from a parallel-twin liquid-cooled mill engine. This is paired with a six-speed gearbox that delivers 39 horsepower and 27 pound-feet of torque at 11,000 and 10,000rpm respectively as reported. In addition, the transmission has an assist and slipper clutch to allow the rider to be able to shift up and downshift in a smoother manner.
Kawasaki Ninja 300: KRT And Winter Test Edition
A report stated that a Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) and Winter Test Edition will also be available for the U.S. market. It was also mentioned that there is no difference between the two in the powertrain but the Winter Edition will have a bigger rear tire with a size of 150mm compared to the base model that only has 140mm. In addition, the Winter Test will also have a color similar to the official race bike of Kawasaki. Lastly, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 has a taller windshield along with a rear seat cowl as reported.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 Price
Reports state that the Kawasaki Ninja 300 starts at $4,999 for the one without the optional Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Buyers can get an ABS upgrade for an additional $300 for a total of $5,299. The Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition has a price tag of $5,499 while the Winter Test Edition is at $5,599 as reported.
The wait is over for those that have waited for the arrival of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 as it is now available. All that is left to do now is get one, suit up and ride on.
